Ashley was born a month ahead of schedule, and weighed about 3lbs. Ashley was admitted to ICU for one month. She was told by her parents that Christmas Day would be the day she needed heart operation. Prayers were answered when her parents visited the hospital on Christmas Day and were told by doctors that her heart was been shut. Ashley never needed any surgeries. With a weight of 4 1/2 pounds, Ashley was released from the hospital following two stays in hospital. Since then, she has never been sick! Her father's ancestry is English and German. Her mother's family from Ireland is where she comes from. Her acting debut was in an advertisement in 2002 for Salon Surprise Barbie Doll from 2002. Ashley was subsequently pursued when she was age 8 by the Ford Modeling Agency. In print, she is consistent and stays with the Agency. When she was just 10 years old She decided acting was the way she would like to go. Ashley was in the cast of 35 commercials. Later, she moved into roles for the stage. Ashley was able to find her calling. Ashley has dedicated her whole time to acting. Modeling and dancing have been left behind. Ashley's final appearance on ABC Family Pretty Little Liars was as "Hanna Marin". Ashley also had a cameo as Romeo Miller (aka Lil Romeo) and in Solange's music videos for the track "True the Love". Britney Spears posed for her in the Vogue Magazine shoot. She is in NLT's music video "That Girl".
